United Way of Kaufman County will award six $1,000 scholarships to high school or GED graduates and four post-secondary accredited institution at the end of the school year to help defray the cost of educational expenses.

The LIVE UNITED Scholarships are designed to recognize individuals who help make a positive impact in the community. Awards will be based on the applicant’s demonstrated commitment to community service and the extent to which the applicant has impacted the community through leadership and service.  The LIVE UNITED scholarships are not a need based scholarship.

To qualify, applicants must be residents or enrolled in United Way of Kaufman County service area.

Applications for the LIVE UNITED Scholarships are available at the high schools and post secondary schools mentioned above.  You may also download a copy. 

Applications must be submitted by mail, e-mail, or the United Way of Kaufman County office no later than March 15, 2019.
